AirDrop Issues Between iPhone and Mac

AirDrop Issues Between iPhone and Mac

AirDrop is one of the simplest ways to transfer files between your iPhone and Mac, that I’ve come across. This feature let you share from your iPhone, photos, documents and much more to your Mac without the need for wires. (AirDrop Issues Between iPhone and Mac)

Here’s a quick guide to help you get started:

1.Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi

  • First of, ensure that Bluetooth and Wi-fi are on for both iPhone and Mac that you intend to sync.
  • Turn on Bluetooth by going to settings on your iPhone, and then tapping Bluetooth.
  • On your Mac, click the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar and make sure it’s on.

2.Turn on AirDrop

  • On your iPhone, unlock iPhone and swipe right from the very top for the Control Center.
  • Use your finger to press the section with Airplane mode and Bluetooth and then use another finger to click on the AirDrop.

Choose everyone if you wish to transfer files to any nearby device.

3.Select Files to Share

  • Locate the file or photo you wish to share saved on your iPhone.
  • Press the Share button icon, which is the square with an arrow pointing upwards and choose AirDrop.
  • You will be brought a list of nearby devices they’ll be your Mac.

4.Receive the File on Your Mac

  • A notification will appear on your screen of the Mac asking to accept or download the file.
  • Click Accept and the file will automatically download to the folder already labelled downloads.

Final Words

And that’s it! Congratulations for sharing files from your iPhone to your Mac through the use of the AirDrop feature.

Just a reminder, AirDrop is even more limited than Slide – it sends files between devices only if they are in close proximity and both the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are activated. (AirDrop Issues Between iPhone and Mac)
